Kamata (Kamata)

The Kamata is a specialized melee weapon created by the Noreht Monks use in their training of the martial arts. It is a difficult weapon to master and is designed to teach patience awareness of ones surroundings. It is essentially a short staff with a long curved blade sticking out of one end and a short straight blade sticking out at a 90 degree angle at the other end.

Note: A Kamata is a double weapon. You can fight with it as if fighting with two weapons, but if you do you incur all the normal attack penalties associated with fighting with two weapons as if you were using a one-handed weapon and a light weapon. The power staff must be wielded in two hands.
